As a husband/wife team in an Etsy shop who should file the Etsy taxes?

My husband and I started selling through Etsy but we have no idea who should claim this on the taxes or do we need to register this as a business since there are two of us who do the work, share expenses and income? We both have full-time day jobs.

This should be recorded as Self Employment Income.  You can make it a partnership with you and your husband as partners.  Under the self employment section you would designate the percentage for yourself and percentage for your spouse.  There does not need to be an official business registration for a small business but income and expenses must be reported to CRA in the self employment section of the income tax.
