You will have to file a T1-Adj either in paper or through MyAccount to adjust your return to reflect the additional taxes withheld and reported separately on the RL1. Some of the information was reported on the corresponding T4 but not the Quebec withholding taxes.
Here is the complete list of possible avenues to change your return: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/about-your-tax-return/change...
If I understand this correctly, it will only address correcting a number in the calculations; it will not address a situation (such as mine) in which the fundamental problem is that CRA does not have the RL-1 document itself and requires it as documentary evidence. Apparently (and much to my surprise), CRA never receives nor stores the RL-1 documents; they simply trust the individual reporting, unless they decide to do a reassessment. I believe the only way to get the document to CRA is by mail to the appropriate tax office.
@Paddle2C1 RL-1 is a provincial tax slip from Revenu Quebec. You can have access to your RL-1 through your My Account for individual with Revenu Quebec or contact them directly.
Province of Quebec has a specific situation, and it is the only province that produce their own tax slips (or Releve) and send it separately, and this is the reason why you have to send your tax return to both government.
To modify a tax return, for CRA, you have to fill out a T1-ADJ and for Revenu Quebec, it is a TP-1.R-V.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
