Can I change the information I downloaded from Revenue Canada? It is incorrect and does not match the information my bank sent me.

This is for capital gains and losses. The CRA download is missing the book value for some stocks so it shows as zero which inflates the capital gain.

Yes, when you import your T5008 tax information from CRA, you'll need to manually enter the cost or ACB in Box 20 of each slip. Failure to do so results in you paying tax on a higher capital gain than you should.
