I have being supporting my husband for the year 2015 can l claim him as a dependant

You cannot claim a spouse as a dependant, but when you input his name and net income from his return, you will be able to claim the spousal deduction.

If you do taxes combined how to do claim a spousal deduction? Or does the software do it for you?
