Caregiver amount for dependent over 18, do not want to claim, when override Schedule 5 and it won't let me netfile. Last year did same and it let me netfile.

If you are using forms, click on the Dependant Icon, click where it says the amount of the Caregiver credit you are getting for your dependant, and then in the pop-up, just answer No to all the questions. This should take off the Caregiver credit without overrides.
