Common Law started June 1st 2016, and my partner supported me all of 2016 because I lost my job, can we claim the spousal amount?

We moved in together in Jun 2016, but my partner was financially supporting me all year because I lost my job.  Can we claim spousal amount even though we didn't live together for a full 12 months?

Yes, you are able to claim the spousal amount.  Make sure all your own income is entered, including any employment insurance as applicable, as this will affect the spousal credit...however your partner is definitely able to make the claim.
