For 2018 income tax return: If i have printed and paid my tax return but was not submitted to CRA yet can I still edit/modify it? will I need to pay again?

If you are using TurboTax Online and you haven’t submitted your return via NETFILE, then you can still make changes to your return. You will not be asked to pay again if you already paid or put in the payment code for the return. But you still will be charged if you upgrade the return or add features, you’ll just have to pay the difference. Also, if you make a copy of the return, the copy will count as a new return, so you will be asked to pay to file or print the copy.

I had previously paid for TurboTax2018 Standard. I had completed my tax return at the end of 2019 but was unable to submit due to account issues with CRA. These issues have since been resolved, however now when i logon to TurboTax, it won't allow me to do anything until I pay for the product again. I understand that I have to wait to submit until Netfile is back online. Please correct or let me know if you have any additional questions.

@JenniferSellars Did you have multiple versions of your return? You may have opened up a copy that was different from the one that you paid for. But if you are sure you are in the right one, please contact us by social media or by phone for further assistance:
