Hi I had to revise my return and when the money was deposited I got the original amount, not the revised amount. Am i still going to get paid out the balance?

You should check directly with CRA to see the status of any ReFiles or Adjustments you made to your tax return. You likely received the amount that was originally filed as CRA processed and assessed that return as filed. Before you can make an adjustment or ReFile, the original return must be assessed.

Your revised amount may still be in processing, or CRA requires more information in regards to the claim. We suggest you sign in to your online CRA My Account and check the status, or contact CRA by phone. The General Enquiries number is 1-800-959-8281
