I am not claiming my child this year. Under Deductions > Additional Dependant Information, do I check "No" even though he lives with me 50% of the time?

The specific question asked in the software is "Did your child live with you in 2017?" He did live with me 50% of the time, but if I say "Yes" will I claim him automatically?

You should check Yes that your child lived with you but do not put a checkmark next to claiming eligible dependant.
