I got a new computer and installed previous years of turbotax. The federal returns open but I get an error that the state tax returns are not installed?

I've already paid for the state returns when I originally filed my returns.

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen. Click on Download State.

how far back? TurboTax no longer offers updates or state returns for years prior to 2019. if you installed 2018 or earlier and opened the return it may not be what you filed since the CDs don't have most of the current year forms nor may the calculations properly reflect the tax laws for those years.
