I married my husband in 2018. He's a US resident and has no Canadian income to declare. Should we file separately? If I accidental chose to join-file, how can I fix this?

If your husband is a resident of the US and does not have a social insurance number or any income, simply enter his social insurance number as 000 000 000 and his income as zero dollars.

He has income, but no Canadian income. We are living separately and he is working in the US. Do I just put his W2 information in the Foreign Income screen?
