I need to change or update my response on my 2020 return from (first time filer). Yet, I can not find that section on the return, can you help me?

To do this, please select My Info > [Your Name]’s Personal Information from the left side menu. The question regarding first time filing is in the middle of the page, under the personal info and above the NETFILE Access Code box.
