If you separated or divorced in 2020, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will still require your ex-partner’s information. The info is needed for a number of reasons, like eligibility for certain credits or deductions, handling property you still own together, etc.

Hello,

I will have no access to get this information due to having a protection order against my former spouse so can you please tell me what I should put for his salary information?  Should I make an overestimate or what?  Thanks for your assistance.
