I was working in Canada for a few months, but I’ve moved out to India now. I expect some refund in tax, and I wonder if I can get a check or direct deposit sent to India?

You can receive a cheque but not direct deposit. You will need to enter a Canadian address in TurboTax and manually enter your address in India once you print it out.
