Im separated now for 2 years how come they want my spouse information and they dont want me to continue my tax form. thanks

having this issue.
If you separated or divorced
before 2017, you need to say "No" to the question "Did you
separate from your spouse/partner in 2017?" on the “Marital Status” page. Select
“Marital Status” from the “Setting Up” tab. Choose the correct options and
click the “Continue” button to save your information.
