Last year I filed my taxeswith a volunteer, so he did all the work. Does this mean my direct deposit info is already set? meaning i don't have to set it up now?

You can check if you have a direct deposit set up in your CRA My Account under the tab "Profile".

If you received a refund last year in your bank account and/or received payments like GST/HST credit from the CRA in your bank account during the year, then you have a direct deposit set up.
