Line 303 - Spouse or common-law partner amount not working?

My spouses net income was less then $5000.00 for 2014. Why is Turbotax not automatically giving the credit? I thought it was automatic in previous years? Is there a question I did not answer correctly in the profile questions?

There is a known bug in this portion of Turbotax on-line software, which is pre-released pending CRA certification. In an upcoming release R3 in early February this bug should be fixed.
Hang tight until then,asI'm doing. You can't NetFile until February anyway until CRA opens it up.

Thank you. I hope the update is automatically applied. I really do not want to re-enter everything again.

When can we expect this fix as it does not appear to be working as of today.

There has been a new release but problems still exist. Hold off a while. This is a very high priority item for Intuit, so should be any day.

I just went to go file my taxes and noticed this as well with my taxes... Is this going to be fixed soon? If I just file, will CRA catch it on their end and fix it and add the credit?

I still don't see an option to claim this. I entered that my wife did not work so zero income. Did it automatically calculate it because I don't see an option for it?

Was this fixed?

I was able to resolve this by opening schedules 1 and 5, then by clicking on the amounts in the form, ie lines 236 and 303 respectively got the income to report properly on the T1 General form, which allowed me to successfully netfile.  Hope this helps someone.

how do you open and edit the forms like schedule 1 and 5?

If you're using Turbotax on-line, you won't be able to edit forms directly.
