Married couple, but wife does not want to file. Option on software is married, which will link returns. I do not want to link returns. What do I do?

When you start a return, it will ask if you are completing a return for yourself, you and your partner, or someone else. You will choose for yourself. You have no choice but to put your marital status as married if you are married. Regardless if the one doesn't want to do their return with the other, they will need to know each other's SIN number and their Net Income for the return to be completed correctly.
