My husband and I took a CPR class for infant/child CPR b/c our daughter was born premature. Can we claim the course amount ?

If your doctor recommended the courses, yes. CRA's stance on training expenses is quite broad :  

Training: the amount paid for you or a relative to learn to care for a relative who has an impairment in physical or mental functions and is a member of your household or dependent on you for support. 

If your doctor recommended that you take these courses because of your daughter's medical issues (as a result of being a premie), the cost would be considered an eligible medical expense.
