My refund isn't what TurboTax stated it would be when I submitted my Netfile.

I submitted my Netfile with a stated refund of $1967.86 but when I received my Notice of Assessment and cheque it was only $1146.94. That's a lot of money short from what TurboTax and therefore my Netfile stated. What should I do?

This is a common situation, which is not necessarily due to the software's calculations. This FAQ lists some possible reasons why your tax refund/balance owing on you Notice of Assessment different from what TurboTax calculated: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/after-you-file-questions/help/why-is-the-refund-or-balance-owing-on-my-notice-of-assessment-different-from-what-turbotax/00/873705

Open your income tax return, then go to the Summary page and verify the amounts on the line numbers compared to the CRA, to see where the error occurred.
