My son has autism and works with a number of therapists. He broke the glasses for one of the therapists. I reimbused the therapist for the glasses. Can I claim that?

I have all the documents for it but, of course the name of the therapist is not our family name. It was in the course of his regular therapy which I am and have claimed.

Unfortunately, you are not able to claim the cost of replacing your therapist's glasses as a medical expense on your income tax return.  You would need to have the receipt issued in your name in order to claim it.  Otherwise, it is considered a personal expense.
