My son turned 18 in November...can I still claim him as an eligible dependent for 2016

Yes you may claim him for 2016 assuming you meet the rest of the conditions to claim the eligible dependant credit.

Because your son turned 18 in November, 2016 will be the final year to claim the Amount for an Eligible Dependant for him.
