My wife and I separated during the year. We share custody 70/30 and I pay her support (with no written agreement). Do we both list all children as dependants?

I'm not worried about the Eligible Dependant credit, just want to know if I should have all 4 kids listed as dependants.

Yes.

You should each list all four children as dependants. Then you can apply any/all credits deductions for them. Listing them as dependants on your return won't automatically claim any credits for either of you.
