When I installed the application, the updates worked OK. Now they don't.
I get "Turbo Tax is unable to determine if an update is available."
error code TT8805

If I uninstall & reinstall Turbotax 2019 will I lose all the work I've done so far? This is the message I got and I assume my work so far (3 different returns) won't be affected:
In the meantime, this will not affect your ability to fill out forms or to complete your return (as the software is still functional), but will prevent you from FILING your taxes prior to the above mentioned date.
