When do I receive my taxes when filed a week ago? I mailed it and was told it was going to be received today

If you mailed your income tax return in, it can take up to 8 weeks to receive your refund if you do not have direct deposit.   For the status of your income tax return,  Contact the CRA at 1-800-959-8281.
