When starting my return, I entered my spouses name wrong, how may I change it in the software?

If you are using our Turbo Tax Online version please click on my info on the left hand navigation pane. Under the same you should see  ' Spouses Personal Information' , click on the same and you should be able to edit the name.

Have you already certified the return? You will not be able to modify any personal data if you have. If so, you will need to either start the return process over or use the Print & Mail option to manually correct the printed return's information.

If not, the modifications are still possible.

you previously had a sscreen shot of the appplication that i provided, and you can see the online help does not give a valid answer, please tell me exaclty how to correct.

By selecting TurboTax 2024 from the panel on the left, you can access "Your Personal Info Summary" and be taken to the same page as shown in the screenshot. You can then choose to "Edit" the necessary information.
