Why can't I make changes within the Turbo Tax free online version after I completed a return and filed? (Edit or delete info within Turbo Tax return not My Account CRA)

I completed and filed my tax return using the Turbo Tax free online version. After the fact I realized I need to make some changes to the filed tax return. As such I wanted to update my return within the Turbo Tax free online version first however Turbo Tax is not allowing changes to the original software return. I cannot edit or delete information. It keeps everything the same. Why can't I make changes within the turbo tax software?

If you have already NETFILED your income tax return, you will need to wait until you receive your Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency and then file an adjustment request.  Please use the following FAQ for instructions on how to do so:
