How do I enter union, professional, and other dues?

You enter your union, professional, and other dues when you input your income and expenses information in TurboTax. These dues may be on your T4 slip, your Relevé 1 (if you were employed in Québec), or on a receipt.

Choose your version of TurboTax, then follow the instructions provided:

  1. Select Find from the menu.
  2. Enter union, then select Union of Professional Dues from the list of populated results, and click Go.
  3. Enter your amounts, then click Continue to save.
  1. From the side navigation panel, select Deductions & Credits.
  2. Select Payments Profile.
  3. Check the box for Union, professional or like dues not reported on a T-Slip.
  4. Select Continue and proceed to Union or professional membership fees.
  5. Enter your amounts, then select Continue.
