Are meals with a counselee deductible for a church leader?
I'm an unpaid elder (officer) at our church, and as part of my service there, I meet with church members who need some counseling. We often meet over breakfast or lunch. Is a portion of these meals deductible as part of my charitable contributions?

Only if you receive a charitable receipt from the church for the value of the meals.
