Basic Personal Amount

My spouse did not work in 2021 and I have claimed for his basic personal amount at work less the little income he earned. The default seems to apply his full basic personal amount when it should only be the portion I did not claim which was 1,860.

How can I change this before filing? Does it matter as it has a NIL impact.

The spouse or common-law partner amount is automatically calculated in TurboTax based on your spouse/partner's net income, which means that you can't edit this amount in your return. You may only choose whether to claim or not claim the amount altogether.
