Can I claim Covid 19 PCR tests as a medical expense?

As required by federal government mandate,  PCR Covid-19 tests were required to return to Canada by air until March 2022 from outside Canada.  Can I claim these tests as a medical expense?

Yes, you can claim Covid 19 PCR tests as a medical expense if you have prescription
According to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Laboratory procedures or services include necessary interpretations – prescriptions needed. COVID-19 tests, such as those for travel, would still need a prescription, even if they are mandatory.
