Can my mother claim seniors day program (that helps give her food and medication) that was prescribed by doctor as medical expense?

Generally, if something was prescribed by a doctor, you can claim it as a medical expense. But, you want to be sure, you can call the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), and  double check with them.
