There are a few reasons why your childcare amounts may not be calculating correctly on the tax return. Here's a few common reasons:

Are you filing a return with a spouse? Childcare is claimed by the lower income earner.
Have you checked the dependant info and ensured it is correct? Was the dependant under 16 at some time during the year and is the birthdate entered correctly?
Do you have "earned income" and has it been entered?
