Disability tax credit

My son turned 18 last year. He qualifies for the disability tax credit and I have claimed him in past years. This year will be his first year doing his taxes and the program is asking if this is his first disablity tax claim. Should I say yes - because it is technically his first return with the claim? or no - because he has been approved for this claim previously and I have claimed it.

Disability tax credit

Say no.  It is not his first disability claim.  CRA will have the disability tax certificate on file.

You receive a vehicle allowance whch has been added to your W2. Can you figure the remainder of your vehicle xpenses, reduce it by the personal use, and the allowance and claim the balance as car expenses?
