Do I get a credit for claiming medical ? How long should I wait. 3581.00 was my medical total. paid turbo tax just for this.

You can claim medical expenses on your income tax return, which can result in a non-refundable tax credit. This means if you have taxes owing, claiming medical expenses can reduce that amount. But it won't result in a refund. Please refer to these articles from TurboTax and CRA.
