Filing jointy: Turbotax is insisting on putting my medical expenses on one person despite selecting the other, so the refund is $900 short. How do I correct this?

My husband did not pay ANY tax so the medical expenses do not increase his refund. Because he is NOT receiving any refund. Yet TT insists on putting the medical expenses there even though I have put them under my own income several times; it would increase our TOTAL refund by over $900 if TT would just LISTEN TO ME.

Our apologies for the delayed reply.

There was an issue with the Medical Expense Optimizer feature posting the expenses to the incorrect spouse's return. This issue has been resolved and the feature should work correctly for you now.

Please advise us if your medical expenses are correctly posting on your return, or if this issue is still occurring.
