For self employed people - are medical bills considered a business expense? (optometry, chiro, massage, dental) ?

Lots of info about claiming as an employee and that process, as well as claiming premiums but what if you don't have a plan. Need health to run a business...

No. You would claim your personal medical bills as medical expenses, not self-employment expenses.
