How do I access what charitable donation receipts I used in previous tax returns and which ones I haven't used and can be carried over to future returns?

I need a detailed list of which ones were used in which year and which ones are unused. I can't seem to see that level of detail on the PDF of my previous returns.

If you need to know if you have claimed donations in previous years, you can find out using the CRA My Account online service. Once you log into your account, click on the tax returns tab at the top of the page. From there, you can view your tax returns from previous years. Look at line 349 on your previous T1 General tax return prior to 2019 or line 34900 of your Income Tax and Benefit returns of 2019 and onward to determine whether you have claimed donations for each of the past five years.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

I know that in the past, turbotax has informed me how much i have in unused charitable donations to carry over, but i can't seem to access that information here.  I think i'm told when i file how much is available to carry over, but i just can't seem to be able to retrieve that information.

@douger767

The best way to check is to go to your CRA MyAccount as TurboTaxGinette mentioned above, as the amount of donations that were used might have changed if the CRA made changes to your return.

But you can also check by login into your previous year’s return, and then select Review> Transfer for Next Year Summary to see everything that TurboTax would be carrying forward. You can login to TurboTax 2022 here: https://ww1.2022.ca.turbotaxonline.intuit.com/
