How do i claim days of northern residence instead of months--I'm not eligible for the additional amount just the first basic deduction?
Under the "Deductions" tab > "Other Deductions" select the "Northern Residence" section, click on Qualifies and provide the dates that you lives in a northern prescribed zone for 2017. This will calculate the basic deduction for each qualifying day.
