How do I claiming daughters income and deductions

17 year old daughter earned 5358.68 from employment.

paid 15.89 income tax & 100.75 EI premiums

should she be filing her own tax return? OR how / where do I record the income and deductions?

are these amounts automatically calculated when I enter them in the "dependents" section?

Yes, she needs to file her own income tax.  She will get back her CPP and income tax at least. You will need to enter her actual income reported in box 14 on her T4.  Do not do anything with the deductions.
