How do I file income from Interest (savings account) if I became a non-resident throughout the year?
Hi,
I received a T5 slip for this income, but it is unclear whether the income should only be reported for the period of the year where I was a resident or for the full year. There is also the question regarding Part XIII income for the duration of the year during which I was not a resident. Should I list the income for this period here or just write it off since Interest payments at arm's length don't have a withholding tax?
