How to stop Turbo Tax updating

Every time I open my TurboTax to continue filling in my forms, it asks me to register and then checks for updates and installs one. No matter how many times I open the file, it always asks me to register and always downloads and installs updates. How do I stop this?

Turbo Tax is updated on a periodic basis throughout tax season to keep the software current with CRA guidelines. It is advisable to allow for updates to incur and install when available.

This doesn't answer my question. How do I stop it from updating EVERY TIME I open it to work on my returns, even if it's only half an hour later.

Make sure to install the update. Turbo Tax will only request an update when one is available and the latest version has not been installed.
