I am using 2017-2018 T2 software. and when I enter amounts for NL political Donations they do not carry forward. Is this a fault with the new software?

The amounts on the Political Contributions page show up on a yellow background, and the audit box says that Political donations made after December 31, 2016 are not eligible for the Ontario Political Contributions Tax Credit.  The line on the entry shows: Newfoundland & Labrador;  Liberal Party of NL; adate in 2017, and the amount.
