I have medical expenses for my granddaughter for prescriptions and eye glasses, but there is only one place for the description and payment date?

When using TurboTax Standard, click on the heading titled Setting up and click on Profile.

Click on Revisit next to other credits and deductions.

Answer Yes to the question, "did you have medical expenses for yourself, your spouse or your dependants?"

Put a checkmark next to You paid medical expenses for a dependant (other than your spouse or children under 18 years of age)"

You will be able to claim the medical expenses for your granddaughter in the Deductions section of your income tax return on the screen that says Medical Expense For Other Dependants.

You can add up the total of your expenses and enter them as one entry.
