I'm a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. I'm required to pay MESS DUES-MESS GIFT-MESS CHARITY. I have receipts from the instatution. Can I claim this on my return?

Dues would not be claimable unless they allowed you membership in a professional organization such as engineers or teachers. Gifts would not be claimable unless they are to a prescribed charity and you have received an official tax receipt with the charity's registrations number.
