I'm wondering if there is a glitch in the tax program. When I enter the child care deduction of $15,535, I get a $10,000 tax savings. This doesn't seem correct.

There is a maximum amount of child care expenses that you can claim for each child. For a child that is not disabled or infirm, the maximum is $8,000 for each child under 7 and $5,000 for each child under 16 years of age. This CRA page has more detailed information about the limits that you can claim: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/technical-information/income-tax/income-tax-folios-index/series-1-individuals/folio-3-family-unit-issues/income-tax-folio-s1-f3-c1-child-care-expense-deduction.html#toc13
