I moved out of Toronto on June 15, 2025. I collected EI for Parental Leave until Sept. "Where did I live on December 31, 2025?": Ontario Deemed Resident Non-Resident?

Did you leave the country or the province?

If you moved outside of Canada: You were a non-resident of Canada on December 31, 2025. You will file a 2025 tax return as an emigrant.
If you moved to another Canadian province, you were a resident of that new province, not Ontario.
