Should my 2017 medical expense deduction limit be the LOWER of 3% of my income or the default amount $2,000? The software is using my income as the threshold.
It should be the lower of the two. The Schedule 1 which your medical is reported on clearly states "enter 2,302 or 3% of your net income, whichever is less".
