Medical receipts claimed

I claimed medical receipts on my 2015 tax return, however there wasn't enough claimed to get any of it back. I have new medical receipts to claim for my 2016 tax return, but it says that I can also use any "unclaimed" 2015 medical receipts. My 2015 receipts did not give me anything back, so are those 2015 receipts considered "unclaimed" receipts that I can now use on my 2016 return?

Medical receipts must be claimed within a 12 month period.  For example, you can claim from November 2015 to November 2016 or in any 12 month period ending in 2016.

If you already claimed your 2015 medical receipts on your 2015 tax return, they cannot be used on the 2016 tax return.
