My 3 year old son has been seeing a speech pathologist for 1 hour a week. It has been under the supervision of a medical professional. Can I claim this as a tax expense?

Provided you are not in Nova Scotia, PEI, Northwest Territories, Yukon or Nunavut, yes you can.  Those provinces do not authorize speech pathologists as medical practitioners.
